Golf FORE the BIRDS

Tosorontio Public School's Special Education class under the instruction of teacher Kyle Parker have built and decorated 6 new homes for the bird inhabitants of Silver Brooke Golf Club. . 

The materials were generously donated by AllistonHomeBuilding Center

Silver Brooke Golf Club will erect the houses as a community project for Audubon International.  The course has been recognized by Audubon for their efforts in environmental planning. 

"The school has recognized that the golf course is an excellent educational tool.  Our community partnership has enabled us to involve the kids at many levels - not just for the sport of golf.  We have been able to teach the students about best environmental practices,
